This is the time of season where we’re supposed to focus on what we’re grateful for.
We go into massive credit card debt buying stuff that we don’t need, that we’ll barely use, to fill an empty hole in ourselves because we hate our life, or, we buy all of these things to impress people we shouldn’t care about. We stuff our faces from Thanksgiving to Christmas which makes us tired and moody and feel pretty crappy, so we, of course, need massive amounts of caffeine just to function.
We start to feel stiffer, slower, foggier and stressed out.
Instead of joy, peace, love, and family, we run around like maniacs. We’re in a CONSTANT state of guilt because we overate, didn’t work out, and are super sleep deprived.
The holiday season causes a lot of people to lose their sanity and obliterate their health. Sidenote: Remember, here at 2fitathome we don’t believe health is a size or a weight or a certain eating style. We believe health is a state of BEING.
If you feel good, you’re not in any stiffness or pain, you feel balanced, your mind is calm and content, and you feel like you’re actually living and loving LIFE and not just getting through the day, then CONGRATS! Yous is healthy!!
Most of us take several MILES (not steps) backward in our state of health during this season. So I’m here to help.
I don’t want you to drive yourself insane, lower your immune system, and risk getting sick and injured just because it’s the holidays. I want you to have fun. Feel so so grateful for your life and the people in it. I want you to feel good, content, and wake up with that jolly, holly feeling and not a sense of dread.
Use these next steps to help you overcome the negativity that the holidays are unfortunately getting more and more known for, and help you survive and thrive this season.
