So What’s The Book About?

I had a choice to make I could have a hysterectomy at 22 years old, and avoid getting uterine cancer, or I could continue the way I had been for the past seven years- going back to the doctor’s every six months, having them perform their exam, take 2-4 biopsies, and wait two weeks to find out their grade, a process that left me drained and discouraged. I could have surgery, or remain the same.

I decided to add a third option: heal my body on my own.

The world of holistic health is amazing! Full of neat tricks and alternative treatments that rival standard western medicine. There is nothing like the moment you skeptically use an herb to treat your sickness, instead of the standard OTC medicines, and find out it works even BETTER than the traditional antibiotics. It blows your mind!

The thing is, it can be pretty time consuming and overwhelming to research, learn and test out all of the gazillions of wellness techniques and recommendations out there. Enter, this beastly resource of a book. I spent a year learning and implementing every single alternative technique that I came across.  I was on a mission to help my body heal. I spent the next year pouring myself over books, blogs, seminars, webinars, articles, magazines and everything I could find. I then spend months after months testing out each technique and recommendation, eliminating the ones that didn’t work for me, and incorporating the ones that did.
